Seminar - Trafficking and Smuggling: A European Perspective
The Oxford cluster in cooperation with EUROJUST is organising a workshop on trafficking and smuggling in the European Union. The workshop will be held at Nuffield College, Oxford, on Monday 2nd of December 2013.
The next FIDUCIA progress meeting event will be held on March 7, 2013 at Max Planck, in Freiburg (Germany).
Discussion will focus on the progress of the FIDUCIA work, research in the area of trust-based policy and new findings in relation to European crimes. The Freiburg meeting will be open not only to FIDUCIA team memebrs but also to experts who might be willing to join and contribute to the discussion, with a view to the next international conference in Prague in September 2013
This publication contains the findings of the FIDUCIA project’s first-year of research, namely a review of the state of knowledge on crime trends, the effectiveness of current criminal policies and the fear of crime, trust in justice and punitive attitudes of citizens across Europe.
